So when all the ice melts and the ocean levels rise, they say rapid climate change will take place. However the truth of the matter is that some areas might benefit greatly from the change while others are placed at a bigger disadvantage, while some are left in a state not affected to much by global warming. Geologically speaking sea levels rising and falling are pretty normal events especially when you take them into context as far as millions of years are concerned. It seems the best plan of action would be to prepare for the impacts of global warming, then after preperations are made then try to correct them. I'm certain that its always better to be 1st prepared for a disaster then worry about preventing the disaster. That way if we fail to keep the disaster from happening devestation is at a minimum b/c we took proper precautions in case of the disaster. That's my little take on global warming right now.

Its funny how people are quick to cry out and make a rucus about the wrongs in the world but if you ask them to fight to change it oh how quickly the crowd shrinks. I look at Sudan and the old genocide going on there and had the US not been engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan I would be urging military aid to stop the slaughter. However many countries in Europe who are comfortably leaving at home criticizing the US because of their militray action against terrorism are contempt with the deaths of millions of innocents when we all know they have the power and resources to stop it. The sad thing is that the US could of done the same when Germany was stomping all over Europe during both world wars but they did the right thing and stepped in. Its unbelieveable that these same nations which cried for help less then a century ago refuse to give it to those who today are in a similar situation. Yeah that's pretty messed up.
